Official info usually published in June. But as a frequent visitor, some things are almost every year the same.
Flyby fixed wing starts 10.30, helicopters about an hour later. Most fighter jets fly from Evreux. Tankers, transports, AWACS and Navy from their home bases.
Patrouille de France, PC-21’s, NAVY helos from Villacoublay.
Army helos have used different airports in recent years, like Creil, a military barracks near Paris, and last year it was Chartres.
But for detailed info, that will be published in June by the French ministry of Defence

Last time I went was in 2018 , Covid and an eye operation got in the way last year

14/7/2018 in the flypast I logged 63 fixed wing including 9 PDF plus 29 helicopters plus 3 security chopper's hovering overhead. All from beside the Air France Building by Invalides rail station

Thinking ahead to next year, with the 14th being a Sunday, do they move the flypast to the Saturday or Monday, or does it still go ahead on the 14th ?

Bastille day is always the 14th July. The celebrations always take place on this day, no matter which day of the week it falls on.

Wow!

Always a great day out

Lots of planes and you just have to stand there with a camera and then soak up the Parisian Atmosphere afterwards

I take civil so I generally make a shed load at CDG

Definitely one of the best days I think on the spotting calendar. I know photos may not be easy unless you can get sun side but you can usually identify everything

Absolutely!
Some 100 aircraft and helicopters in an hours time with great variety and most of the times some special foreign ones. And that in centre of the French capital.
Absolute great day out! (and afterwards on to RIAT).

This year will see the debut of the H160 Guepard (2), also participating are 2 RAF Typhoon, 2 Belgium F-16, an Italian NH90, the first French Rafale F4, and two Indian Rafales.
No more info at the moment.

Looks good as usual

Guessing the Indian Rafales are instead of the Indian Jags?

Funny.
This is the third version I see to day.
The 3 Indian and France Rafales are now the other way around. First the French was leading, more logical
Only 1 RAF Typhoon was 2 first with 1 Rafale.
And the Reaper (drone) is gone it was flying with/along the Be350.

And some still are on the GMP site
https://www.terre.defense.gouv.fr/gmp/1 ... title-1508
See link to pdf down the page.

:O

Well that's odd when I view de pdf by using Drive I see another version then when downloading de pdf. :S

But that's all in the details.

UK Foreign Office travel advice for France has been updated overnight as the widespread riots continue. I doubt they will still be an issue in 2 weeks time but probably worth keeping a close eye on things?
