AV were not exactly the reason for wanting to go and irrespective of what turns up it is still a decent day out with Greek Airforce visitors including Phantoms stored and otherwise that everyone gets excited about.

Email today asking for payment to a Greek bank account in euros. No mention of whether I have been accepted for either day. Strange way of doing things.

A quick email asking for confirmation, shouldn’t be too hard. State that you need to book flights and therefore need to know what date.

Indeed. I made a note on my email with the payment receipt stating that the payment was in respect of my attendance at the Spotters Day on the 26th April.

Checked all boxes and checked it went to the correct email, probably got a bit longer before it’s too late to sort flights and everything. Had two days either side of Iniochos planned for low level days in Greece but I won’t come down just for that.

I emailed the HAF spokesperson and they confirmed my registration within minutes, and then provided the direct email to 117. They have just confirmed the payment procedure mentioned before. Just got to work out the IBAN format now! To those that have paid, I am assuming the account holder is acf.117 HAF?

We like to inform the spotters who will participate “HNIOCHOS” military
exercise that the daily fee is fifteen euros. Thus, the participants are
kindly requested to deposit the fee according amount to the bank account
below GR 72 0101 1400 0000 0232 3271 142 (IBAN) Bank of Greece, and send
the deposit receipt via email to asf.117.cw@haf.gr

Thanks Slogen. I'm being asked for the account holder's name. Sounds like your payment was ok, can I ask what name you put down?

I have made only a few IBAN payments , notably to the tiger meet association and I thought I needed the payee account name exactly but apparently not.

In this case , using Barclays, I typed in the IBAN and just typed a free format payee - in my case ' Iniochos ' I think. Anyway the payment has gone through and I have a pdf receipt which I have printed off and must remember to email to the address above

I emailed the HAF Spokeman again yesterday and they told me asf.117 are dealing with the requests/payments however I’ve not heard anything so I’ve written Iniochos off for this year sadly on a brighter note I’ve just had AE confirm
