Doh
Sorry, Chris
Only just had my cataract ops and my mincers are still getting used to being a spectacle-free zone

Very nice set there. Must get out there myself next year.
Were they all taken from public areas or did you get base access for some?

All from publicly accessible areas.
Re: South West (USA) wanderings, January/February 2023
Possible addendum to the last comment... 'currently publicly accessible areas'. Judging by the number of persons & vehicles parked on the side of the fast & busy Route 604 highway passing the Raceway, it can't be too long before either the State Troopers ban all stopping & access, or an over-enthusiastic photographer becomes a 'speed-bump'! Either way, it will be further erosion of possible locations still remaining since we lost access to the desert at that end of Nellis.
Also good to hear that you didn't get busted by Security at Yuma. I thought that might be another loss of location.
One thing for sure, the shots' locations & weather seen in your post are testament to your efforts & a pleasure to view here.

The side of the road by the Speedway is only busy when Red Flags are on, which is only a few weeks a year. I've never seen any law enforcement take any interest, other than the USAF Security Forces getting excited about people parking on the base side of the road. As for someone becoming a speedbump, I think that's more of a threat as some people seem determined to achieve that! (I don't know why, the verge is plenty wide enough!)Supra wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 3:17 pmPossible addendum to the last comment... 'currently publicly accessible areas'. AFAIK the only place Jethro and Co (NCIS) have an issue with at Yuma is on the verge by the alfalfa field by the north east corner of the base. I avoided that this time, and had no hassle

I did get moved on from the back of the FBO at Tucson though ....
