I remember last year Duxford were really hyping up their 50th year of airshows.... struggling to get excited at the moment!

I'm sure the entry price + parking charge* (*even for Disabled?) will be good value when the final line-up is announced?
Okay,... I'm not totally convinced, but The IWM Management better get this content right or the affect going forward could make their pricing structure a fatal strike for audience numbers next year!

The £5 Parking charge for Disabled is crass! Those affected clients don't realistically have an option to use the P&R facility. Anything that makes their lives easier to enjoy as much as an able-bodied person is not only morally expected in these PC times but mandated under the Disability Discrimination Act of 1995, amended 2005/2010 & 2018. Another poorly considered IWM revision generated by mis-guided Management IMO! :grr:

🇺🇦 🌻 🇺🇦. The parking last year, on the last visit of mine, was over the road from the airfield. As reported on FC the exit procedure was a nightmare.
Insisting on a parking ticket helps control the vehicle numbers and urges people to use the park and ride, apparently.
There is a higher demand for the event than the airfield can cater for so numbers need to be limited in some ways. Perhaps it would be worth considering a full day on the Friday?
More electric vehicles from the car park would be a great help for the elderly and physically challenged.
