Probably as a fire risk - lots of cars in close proximity in the WAVE car park.

I can see an A400 that left Brize Norton earlier this evening appears to be heading to King Khaled airport, could this be connected or for the Saudi Exercise, or is it just a normal "Milk Run".

From the Waddington Movements Group courtesy of Les.
Just had a conversation with the farmer regarding the so called overflow parking near the fire training area.

There not impressed with people driving over his crops. He said he is thinking about blocking access to us if it continues.

Remember this is his livelihood and driving over his field’s isn’t acceptable.
There is an entry lane and two ww2 size concrete dispersals - no need to drive over the mud.

Morning all.

Looking at the FC23 plan I see there are Sorties being flown on two of the Fridays.

Does anyone know whether they tend to plan mornings only on Fridays or morning and afternoon Sorties?

The exercise missions are mornings.

The same pattern was flown last year - M/W/F week 1/3 and Tu/Th week 2.
On the Friday of week 2 the Italians flew two waves, the Germans flew one.

It's a case of we won't know until it happens.

Is this week considered Week 1, Mike? I've got all next week booked off, just need to pull the trigger on a specific day to try and hit Coningsby and Waddington!

This week is just the build-up.

Week 1 (of the 3-week exercise) is next week, 6th - 10th March.

Reports of unmarked police vehicles patrolling the A15 (I also saw two marked up cars earlier).

There's also HGVs ignoring the speed limits and overtaking.

Please take care.

Nothing new there then, normal A15 lunacy

Are the saudi typhoons parked where 29 sqdn park. And can they be seen from the bbmf parking area?
