Hi Mike,
Also after the wingman for J-5012 SUI406A & B.
Any joy in your quest?

A clear view of all three pairs over Suffolk - not a case of 'dot-spotting', because the a/c were easily identifiable through my scope. So, I'm also after SUI402A/B, the one that wasn't J-5003.
What seems to be a departure picture on the RAF Leeming FB page (here: https://www.facebook.com/raf.leeming/ph ... 6417993513) suggests that J-5016 was accompanied by J-5013. But that's all I've managed to find out so far.

Hi All,
The best I can offer is that SUI406 was over Clacton at 14-40 south hdg on ADSB as J-5012 Hex 4B7F8E with one other.
Then at 14-48 SUI428 south hdg on ADSB as J-5016 hex 4B7F8A with J-5013 ( assumed from photo on previous post)
Third pair not seen by me but there was a fast jet hdg S earlier which may have been the singleton . Not plotting on ADSB.
Hope this is clear and helps
Mike

Gents,

From looking at various links, webpages and via ADSB data, here`s what I can offer.

F/A-18C s/n J-5003 c/s SUI 402 (From ADSB/Payerne Photo)
F/A-18C s/n J-5005 c/s SUI 403 (From Payerne Photo)
https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=468 ... 0892045728

F/A-18D s/n J-5232 c/s SUI 404 (Assumed from LEE FB info`)

F/A-18C s/n J-5012 c/s SUI 406 (From ADSB)
F/A-18C s/n J-5018? c/s SUI 407 (Assumed due to LEE FB photo showing J-5016/13 in formation)

F/A-18C s/n J-5016 c/s SUI 408 (From ADSB)
F/A-18C s/n J-5013? c/s SUI 409 (Taken from LEE FB photo)

The first flight seems confirmed due to photo`s posted (in the link above), from someone who was at Payerne when they returned. The only real doubt I have iswhether J-5018 and J-5013 are in the correct order as someone on the LEE FB group has stated that J-5018 was the last to depart. This doesn`t agree with the photo posted in the link "Stainless" added above, supposedly taken by RAF photographers on the day of departure showing J-5013 and J-5016 in formation.
