Croatia through to the world cup semi finals on penalties. Their keeper kept them in it with some good saves right through the match

Namar didn't take one

Incredible

I wanted Brazil to win

I think Croatia have only won game in normal time when they beat Canada! They were average against Japan but that is football, everyone has a chance even England.

But it does demonstrate that countries like Scotland and Wales who are a similar size to Croatia are under achieving.

Fantastic result for Croatia. I can't stand the fact that Brazil think it's there god given right to win it. So one more time congratulations to CROATIA !

Brazil try to play with a bit of style. They should have 'parked the bus ' after they scored in extra time but it's not in their dna

Croatia = Blockers

Really looking forward to The Netherlands vs Argentina

Croatia made it to the 2018 World Cup final against France. Could 2022 final be a repeat of 2018?

It terms of size Croatia is more than twice as big as Wales in area and a million difference in population with Croatia being 4.1m to Wales being 3.1m. But yes we could have played a lot better 😊

Did anyone pick up on the bit about the kids on the park.The Croatian team had their kids on the park and one of them legged it to try and speak to Neymair.The tough security guys stopped him but apparently the player saw it and went over and spent a bit of time with the kid.Totally changed my view of him.Reminded me of years ago when Celtic played Arsenal in a European cup game .A shot in the tunnel showed all these tough guys totally ignoring the kids as if they were just part of the show .Fabregas(cant remember spelling)was on his haunches chatting away to the youngster alloted to him.2 small things but they will be the kids heros for life.

Morocco vs Portugal still no goals after 30 minutes in the 3rd Quarter final.

Jon Champion and Ally McCoist the commentary team. I think McCoist is my favourite pundit.

Lovely bit of interplay between Champion and McCoist: " Apparently Ally, your nickname as a player at Rangers was 'The Judge' because you spent so much time on the bench"
