thanks for the information again! Any information known which Mi-8s are stored on the platform? 215 plus two others were noted early September.

Re: Zagreb
Thanks
Due to other trips and a drive to Slovenia today the only day I can make it is Saturday afternoon 1/10 no idea how it will go but worth a look as I also take civil
Sounds like some MO eagles through Lakenheath Monday afternoon which hopefully I will see as we are back Tuesday?

Re: Zagreb
Well slightly frustrating
Read off 164 Mig-21 in the hangar
5 Mil-8/17 out side on the ramp stored I guess with 3 Mig-21
Also the two AN-32 noted
ZTC
One of the ZTC hangar doors was open and a nose on Mi-8/17 could be seen
9A-ISC Do-28
8 Pa28 edit UTVA-75, 7 serials - they are UTVA-75 military trainers
Preserved Mig-21 102
Plus various wrecks that I might decipher from photos
Ta for the spotting info
Civil dumped at Zagreb
??? G2 no marks
??? C550 no marks

Re: Zagreb
Excellent thanks again
That was just a path finder trip , next time I am in Croatia and there will be a next time as it is a beautiful place and joining the euro and Schengen or Eurozone in 2023, I will spend a bit more time at Zagreb
In the light of the following post I probably won't be coming back!

Re: Zagreb
May as well add that shortly after I posted the above two Croat police types visited the hotel room in medulin, where we are staying which is about 170 miles from Zagreb and said I had been reported for taking photos of military aircraft at Zagreb. Luckily I was able to show that actually I only photographed with my phone a preserved Mig at ZTC which they said should be the end of the matter - I will find out on Tuesday when I try to leave the country!
I was only using binoculars at Zagreb but nonetheless someone reported me for taking photos so be warned. They found me of course through the car rental license plate.
I guess the region has had such a volatile history anyone behaving a bit differently is treated with suspicion

Re: Zagreb
Finally at ZTC, what I thought were Pa28 were actually UTVA-75 a light military trainer formerly used by the Croatia Air Force
I only read six numbers although I think there are 7 or 8 in open storage
010
011
002
9A-DJL *edit
004
003
Plus one with 9A - number blacked out
Also out side were
9A-DAB C210 Min of Defence
9A-ISC Do-28 Airforce
