Macron airborne as COTAM1 in F-RARF, Airbus A330.
What's happened to this one please?
Landed in Paris after a short hop from an Airbase somewhere to the West.

Quite surprised to see how many aircraft move on after dropping their passengers,I would have thought in this day and age, security staff would want the planes as near as they can get them for any eventually, you would have thought there is enough ramp space between the three main London airports plus Northolt and Luton without having to displace flights out to other parts of the UK and Europe,,Just find it odd

Possible lack of hotels anywhere within 100 miles of London for the flight crews/security staffers to stay.
Over a million extra visitors into 'The Smoke' in last week or so.

I thought Macron landed at Northolt on CTM0008 or was I mistaken.
Turns out he must have been, just seen some photos of him in London!
Normally he flies on CTM0001, weird.

Thinking about a 3hr drive to STN tomorrow, do you think it would be worth it with most having dispersed elswhere? Could some start flooding back in the afternoon after the funeral to pick up their passengers or more likely to spend another night in the UK?

I don’t see any real security issues in dispersal. It depends on what you see as the threat to your leader, and the likelihood of him/her needing to make a rapid departure. Clearly not a concern for the Japanese, who were content to abandon the Emperor and disappear to Brussels…

Does anyone know who or what came off the two Australian KC-30’s at Stansted?

Well there is an Australian contingent of troops taking part in the funeral tomorrow so that may be a start?
Ex: 24/30/70/72/84/101 & 230 Squadrons .... 38 years of military aviation :grr:

Troops to take part in the funeral.
Also their living VC and GC holders.
The Australian govt also offered to take officials from smaller neighbouring countries.

I thought a contingent of troops would’ve been the case when the two KC-30’ left Australia. I think the VC holders came by BBJ, except for Cpl Ben Roberts Smith who has been snubbed big time by the Australian Gov.

Are timings known for the Brunei 747 (I assume it will return to Stansted at some point)?

It's a shame the Indian 777 insists on moving under the cover of darkness :ninja: !

Admittedly civil but Sky Prime Aviation A330-200 HZ-SKY2 and A340-600 HZ-SKY arrived at LGW today too - the later as CONGO01.

Most of the heads of state and government need to be in NewYork on Tuesday morning for the UNGA.

Macron nearly always uses Northolt when he comes to London.
