The press day has already happened - a few select parties got an invite it seems, can't remember if it was early this week or end of last week.

Tomorrow is rumoured to be an Ex day in place of Monday.

The comment re the GAF leaving on Monday was on a 51 TLG facebook page by one of their ground support members - not heard or seen anything since to suggest they won't be here next week.

Hopefully they stay the duration.

Okay fair enough then (guess I'll have to finish off painting the hall then :( )

Hello,
Does anybody know which days next week will be the Exercise Days (The Large Package Mission Days). Tue & Thu? or Wed & Fri?

If all is still correct - Weds and Fri, although Friday was a reserve day originally.

Non ex days have seen more movements, with the Typhoons going up twice (only once on ex days) and Tornados going up twice (they've done that on ex days as well) but haven't gone up a 2nd time today (yet).

The E550 only flies on ex days, unsure if its going back to Italy before the next ex day or not, the E3 has only flown twice - the first day of the ex and yesterday due to being broke.
If it was me, I'd aim for Wednesday next week.
Tuesday could be a slow start after the bank hol and Friday could be a no show/early finish.

Hope this helps?

Mike

Literally the first line of the post above yours 😉 Wednesday, with Friday originally being a reserve day.

You could look at it the other way, Monday exercise day is now Tuesday. Part of the exercise won’t be just missed it’ll be delayed to next working day.

With the E550 having just left - I'd say that tomorrow is not an exercise day.

I saw six Italian Typhoons this afternoon from the Harmston end. Clearly visible from the farmers ‘No plane Spotters’ sign.

It's at a farm entrance on the A607, left hand side as you drive towards Harmston.

The sign has been there since CW 19.
