This will be the biggest event in World History. Take the Mandela funeral as the starting point and add to that. It is a world summit on steroids. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_d ... on_Mandela
From the Mandala wiki page.
"The memorial service was one of the largest gatherings of world leaders. Two UN Secretary Generals, both presidents of EU (Council and Commission), two French presidents, four United States Presidents and four UK Prime Ministers attended the funeral service. In total, more than 500 VIP dignitaries from 19 supranational organizations and approximately 190 countries had arrived for this event."

This thread will be easier to just put the nations that have confirmed they will not attend at either Premier or Foreign Minsiter level. At this time I am only aware of one which is Russia.

Basically every South East airport is con-planning to stack VVIP aircraft movements.

Probably easier to list who won't be there

Basically every leader will either be there or represented to pay their respects and glad hand the new Monarch .

I think you are right! Many of the attendees will use Civilian registered aircraft not relevant board, for some it could go either way, but I can't see the Prime minister of Malta using an Islander, much as I would like to see it. :P I am going to try to update the first post to reflect this when more information is known. We do have some precedence for this with the 2012 Olympics opening ceremony where a lot of FBO's and airports in the southeast did not do as well as they expected. This is one of, if not the, most planned events in modern UK history so I expect the airport affected will be working through the plans now. the Police will want to minimise the number of airports being used to preserve resources, I fancy that the M11 southbound from Stansted will be complicated on Sunday next week.

It may well be a case of "drop and go" for some of the aircraft with them having to deposition to quieter locations to preserve ramp space for live movements. several leaders have indicated they will go directly to New Yorn for the UN General assembly after the funeral.

The police at Stansted Airport are very keen to make us enthusiasts aware that they are getting more serious about ensuring we are not visiting the northside business area or other restricted areas of the airport. Not just for the movements next weekend, but in general. Expect to be caught if you go somewhere you should not be! Belmer Road is where they prefer us to congregate.

Great point, there is a footpath next to the Ash Pub where a lot of northside visitors can be seen from https://www.civilianaviation.co.uk/foru ... hp?t=40774 the northside is likely to be heavily policed.

if you are going to park in the Ash pub car park please pop in a buy something.

If the below is correct, it will affect the number of visiting aircraft.

I would say that multiple Heads of State on a bus going through a city, would be a far greater security risk

If I recall there is precedence for this at one of the D-day anniversaries. They all shared coaches then.

Correct.

Security is a risk, whether bus, private car, on foot - the lot.

The statement about the commercial flights has to be made to keep Greta and co from having kittens and the likes of extinction rebellion disrupting the event with protests. Can you really see Biden arriving on Norse into LGW and the getting the Gatwick express into London, ain’t going to happen, the same goes for most of the G20 at least, just cannot see them jumping on commercial flights.

Biden will probably cancel if he cannot use AF1 and his entourage.RAF Northolt only open to military movements until 20September.

Surely it's best to wait and see what arrives, take it from there, some folk seem to have a fixation with POTUS and AF1, he will arrive with his usual security I'm sure and he certainly won't cancel.
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!
