Wonder at what point after the castle it headed home, I heard nothing here! So it must've banked North prior to the airport?
Well that's PLANE to see!

Cleared to climb to 15 000 ft by EAL Tower, turned north over airport like almost all have to do over active runway.

For some unknown (to me anyway) reason, all the fast jets seem to route out of the area North via the Forth Bridges, & not to the South.

Looking out from my garden I only saw the red strobe lights and a bit behind, around the same altitude, another aircraft on white lights. I couldn't hear anything. I expected the lead aircraft to go bellowing out but I heard no sound at all. It made me wonder if they were military aeroplanes in the first place. Well that's it for now.

'Fang' is a 9 squadron callsign and Edinburgh Castle is at the Western end of The Royal Mile and nothing to do with Princes Street.
