Does anyone know how long the B52's will be staying at Fairford for?

TIA

If anyone on here knows, they're not going to say. It ain't public information.

At a guess I’d say the ones in the know are USAFE & AF Global Strike Command…However for speculation & info (sometimes more of the former!) I’d suggest you keep an eye on the dedicated Fairford Bomber Deployments section of the forum.

Going on previous deployments over the past few years they vary in length from a few weeks to a few months - for instance the deployment earlier this year was quite long. So they could be here for a little while. Wait & see.

I hope if you’re after them then you get to see them.

Best

Ben

Having had the pleasure of meeting a crew at the last deployment the answer I got when asking that very question was "we'll be here until we're not".. :thumb:
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

That reply from the crew should be copied onto every folder connected to the current deployment on this forum in the hope that it will stop the no doubt repeated question of ‘does anybody know…’
