BRS 2401 now receiving departure clearance on 129.475 (1730lt).

SIREN SID, cl FL70 to Lyneham Approach 118.425, then to London 134.750.

I thought I heard a whine of a 707 engine come over today. Didn't this one come in around the same time last year.

Not sure of it's arrival date last year but it departed on 10th Sept 2009.

yep and a load of us stood there in minus about a million for ages whilst it circled overhead and then broken off to Brize coz they were scared of a bit of ice on the runway!!! lol
