The U-2 took off at 8.30am today so we might get it coming back to base later today, They did that in 2017 on the Thursday arrivals too so maybe they might do the same again?

Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2022 - General Discussion Thread
Apologies if this has been asked before (I can't find it anywhere). I have a Sunday ticket and I am staying at the motorhome Park in Cirencester on Sat and Sun night. Looking through the detailed information pages they say I can bring my motorhome to the Tattoo but I will be parked "off base and on grass". Does that mean outwith the official parking zones? If so does anyone know where I will be directed to?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

I'd guess so? But you would be best to ring them directly.Quicksilver wrote: ↑Tue Jul 12, 2022 10:15 amApologies if this has been asked before (I can't find it anywhere). Gutted too, that was the highlight of the show for me, very bare now compared with previous years

Not quite sure 2 aircraft not appearing suddenly makes it very bare!

Don't forget we still have the E-4b and who knows what bdh will pull out the hat on Thursday, remember the Israeli C-130 a couple of years ago no-one saw that coming

Believe it all when it's down in the tarmac and actually seen - especially the E-4

Very disappointing but these things happen. Im sure there will be good reason but it appears the US bombers always try to avoid me. Last time i saw b52 or b1 was a good few years ago now

Show is looking very poor compared to previous years, I seriously doubt the E-4 will turn up. Anyone know the reason both cancelled?
