At lunchtime the main event, 10 Maryland based A-10 warthogs are returning to the East coast of USA from Europe. These are ONS departing Tuesday. I caught these very chaps when on a business trip to Baltimore, USA a few years ago

When I was at Monkton, the CAF CC-130 was partially obstructing some of the A-10s, but if you go up the road past the former HMS Gannet, you should be able to see all A-10s (from a distance

...). The Road Traffic signage outside Spirit is not ideal for photography from the Monkton side, unless you can charm the occupant of the Spirit gatehouse into allowing you to take photographs from their car park (more than his job's worth, usually).
