I'm managing to avoid the horrors of Top Gear so far thank gawd! In fairness to James May though I thought the programme on Scalextric was good though - notably for a look at the remnants of the Brooklands track. Shame we didn't get a glimpse of the runway!

Loved the bit this week with their home built Gee Wizz on the "Top Secret" test track. Good job they didn't put it round the skid pan , they'd have probably blacked out half of Warwickshire!!

Does anybody know what airfield Richard Hammond was at the begining of the show.

It was RAF Colerne, Wiltshire - The satellite dishes and Bristol UAS Tutors were there.

Just watched it on iplayer :thumbs: Spent 5 years living in Colerne and regularly saw topgear testing sports cars and I saw Jeremy Clarkson twice :P Nice to see they're still adding to 21 sigs radar dishes too...
