3 ship still holding east of market deeping

So do i take it that the 16 ship formation will be coming over Marham to do a fly by,if so its only 10 miles away from me and a lot less trafic than what will be over at cottesmore.can anyone confirm this please. or have i misread.

It was reported several days ago that the 16 ship would be doing a circuit over several Lincolnshire air bases. Everyone's been waiting for confirmation and a timetable, now we have one. Good news, in a sad kind of way.

Thanks to all who have posted and made arrangments with Rutland camping but can i clarify where the entrance is we are allowed to use and park as i am not familiar with the camp site. I will be travelling from Birmingham/Cottesmore direction .

'From the A1 - turn off the A1 (north or south bound) and head towards Greetham on the B668.
Then turn right at the crossroads before the village, and take the second left to the site.

From Oakham - take the B668, through Greetham village, turn left at crossroad, then second left to site.'

I'm considering driving up from Wiltshire tomorrow - anyone else going from 'down south'?
I risked it earlier in the year with "heavy snow showers and poor viz" forecast but had a great day with plenty of sunshine - t'were a bit bracing though!
I guess that if you don't go, you'll regret it if someone posts some cracking shots that evening!

You're not wrong there squire. If you stay at home based on a poor weather forecast it just about guarantees that it's wrong.

I think they've forecast fog every day this week so far ... and there has been no fog...

For what it's worth my AccuWeather app is forecasting a mix of sun and clouds tomorrow and right the way through to Wednesday. Let's hope the wonderfully named Joe Bastardi is right.

Hate to disappoint you mate, but I think Cottesmore & Wittering are only operational from Monday to Thursday?
Best to check before you have a wasted journey.
