Norfolk Spotter.
It was reported several days ago that the 16 ship would be doing a circuit over several Lincolnshire air bases. Everyone's been waiting for confirmation and a timetable, now we have one. Good news, in a sad kind of way.

I'm considering driving up from Wiltshire tomorrow - anyone else going from 'down south'?
I risked it earlier in the year with "heavy snow showers and poor viz" forecast but had a great day with plenty of sunshine - t'were a bit bracing though!
I guess that if you don't go, you'll regret it if someone posts some cracking shots that evening!

You're not wrong there squire. If you stay at home based on a poor weather forecast it just about guarantees that it's wrong.

For what it's worth my AccuWeather app is forecasting a mix of sun and clouds tomorrow and right the way through to Wednesday. Let's hope the wonderfully named Joe Bastardi is right.

Well I'm going to be around either Tuesday Wednesday or Thursday, so unless the weather goes pear-shaped again I hope to get some pictures.

They will take the decision on which day the flypast will be on (14th, 15th or 16th) on the 13th.

Hate to disappoint you mate, but I think Cottesmore & Wittering are only operational from Monday to Thursday?
Best to check before you have a wasted journey.

As they were today, COT are hoping to fly tomorrow.

Just hope the forecast fog permits it to happen.
