Shouldn't that be a Midge as the I believe the fighter variant was called, or Ajeet in Indian AF service.
In this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig.

I'll give you that. It is an HAL Ajeet, the licence built version of the Gnat/Midge lightweight fighter.Sparts99 wrote:Shouldn't that be a Midge as the I believe the fighter variant was called, or Ajeet in Indian AF service.

Re: Off we go again - competition - what's this?
I read once that the PAF Starfighters couldn't use their missiles against the IAF Ajeet as their engine didn't provide a distinct enough IR signature against the heat of the ground.
Anyway, I have nothing to offer as I'm at work so anyone please step in with another challenge.

Has the look of a Sikorsky flying boat but I don't think it is one of that marque.

I was thinking along the Russian lines, closest thing I can find looking similar is perhaps a Beriev MBR 2Figure8 wrote:Possibly Russian, Grigorovich?

Having spent more time Googling that is good for me I found a Japanese site that lists an awful lot of Russian aircraft and buried deep inside it is the Chetverikov ARK-3. The pic is a from a different angle but it looks like the aircraft in yours so I'll go for the ARK-3.
