Andy - great to see.
There are a number of decal sheets with a 74 sqd F-4 with a Tiger on the nose and tiger striped rudder - meant to be from this meet. But I've never actually seen a photo - any more in the collection?

These are great, sadly this was another event that I wasn't able to attend. If there's more, please put them up, but thank you for these.

WOW!

These bring back some great memories.
One of the great Tiger Meets/Air Shows I visited.
With a great variety of old and new Tiger and France aircraft.
GREAT it was ;-)

Also first time for me at an airshow with my new Minolta SLR camera! (resultated not in the best pictures)

And yes it was hot!

Thanks for the comments.

Just checked other slides and all the 74 sqn Phantoms were in the same scheme.

I do have other photos but they are in the static, same aircraft, different serial numbers, but all have chunky barriers around them, hence I didn't bother putting up.

Can't remember much about the flying display, only took one shot of the Patrouille de France, think I was shooting in to the sun so didn't bother. Seem to remember a formation of Mirage 2000's but that's about it. A Mirage IV did fly and take off with JATO but I was walking back to the coach and could not get a shot of it.

I'm surprised you say that. It was one of the (if not the) best flying displays I've ever seen. Virtually everything - if not everything - in your flight line photos took off, wave after wave, and performed a base attack. They were joined by wave after wave of based Mirage F1C's operating from the shelter areas. And the Mirage 4 doing a RATO/JATO.

Some say the previous years Tiger meet at Klein Brogle was better - I didn't attend that. For me this was the best show I've ever attended. Thanks for the photos - brings back so many memories.

Must have been the heat and fatigue(or all the years) which made me forget. It would nice to see a shot of the Mirage IV take off if anyone has one.

Fantastic show
I also attended this show and it was very hot
I remember it being a Aeroprint tour
In 1986 it was a whole new experience going to a foreign show
I even remember the multi sex toilets.

Cambrai and Kleine Brogel had indeed the best Tiger Meets and could organise a decent air show during the event.

Awesome set of shots. Camo Spanish Mirage F-1s are particularly nice!

One of the best shows I've been to over the years. As has been said the vast majority of the flight line flew - over 20 aircraft ? - I think the only Tigers that didn't fly were the Upper Heyford F-111's. Following the Tigers came the based Mirage F1C, and they kept coming ! For some reason 21 rings a bell, just know for sure there was a lot of them.
