Already been posted (in the GOLD71/81 thread) transit via Azores routing not North Atlantic I believe(subject to usual caveats)

Think they took that route last time, as do RAF. USAF seem to go northern route over Greenland-Iceland. Being single engine I’d want to stay as close to land as possible too

These 10 F-35B's were reported arriving into MCAS Beaufort last night on the Scramble messageboard, whilst their KC-135 support (as Gold 71 and 81) are both believed to have gone into Robins AFB. Assuming CF-01 hasn't changed since last year, then that's only 2 different jets from last time (CF-03 and CF-05). The (supposedly 2) VT ANG jets are rumoured to be going to Spangdahlem instead now, possibly on Tuesday.
