Shaw AFB 26th March 1992

Would anyone be able to help with the identities of several SW F-16C that I saw on the above dates with special markings:

"33rd TFS" blue fin flash
"363TFW" blue fin flash
"363 TFW" white fin flash (might have been 89-085)
"363 TFW" yellow fin flash
"9th Air Force" yellow fin flash

On 23-4-1993 we had 89-2117 blue " 363FW" but not 363TFW?

You didn't by chance see one marked "17FS?

Cherry point air show 18-4-93 had 89-2129 "363 OG" mlti

Lucky enough to go to Shaw airshow on 1-5-94 where 91-0368 was marked as "9AF"

Thanks for your help Mike. I win the idiot of the year prize though for getting the date wrong. I meant 1992 which would explain why the T for tactical was still on the markings. I think the designation changed officially in November 1991.

I stopped by Shaw AFB a couple of times in July 1992 - the only special tail I logged was

89-2098 F-16C "SW" with white/green/yellow/blue fin tip and tail marked as "9AF"

30 March 1992 I have 90-0730/SW 19FS wt but it would seem this was tied up after the event looking at my notes

29/03/92 i logged have 89-2053 marked as 363FW Y
this was the day after MCAS Beaufort show that year, and there was a few spotters about that week.
90-0730 i have as being marked 17 FS AMU

sorry 90-0730 should read 17FS not 19FS my mistake was looking at 2 different things and transposed what i wanted to put down , off for a cuppa to calm down

Going through my log looking for the original query I came across a BDR UH-1 at Dannelly Field I hadn't logged - just 38563 on the tail but I now know it is 63-8563 probably ex AL Army national guard. Bonus!
