Departed 10:05
Re: Notam 26/02/21
Onto 252.875 passing 8,500ft for 19,000ft, nice reception today
Re: Notam 26/02/21
Levelled off at 13,000ft and trying to call Ops on 337.750 with no success yet. Just declared aircraft pressurisation issue, maintaining FL130 and routing direct KEPAD on 252.875
Re: Notam 26/02/21
Turning east, north west of Redditch, trailing.
Re: Notam 26/02/21
In contact with Mobile via Ops 337.750, trouble shooting the issue
Re: Notam 26/02/21
Black 01 up on 252.875 will route to KEPAD and climb to FL600 and orbit there to keep in contact with his Ops for a little while longer.
Re: Notam 26/02/21
Has the U-2 managed to continue on to his intended route?
Re: Notam 26/02/21
Black 01 up on 252.875 stating he’s done for the day and looking to head to the Bristol Channel to adjust gross weight before RTB Fairford

Re: Notam 26/02/21
On tracking , just north of Cardiff at present orbiting at 60,000 feet
Re: Notam 26/02/21
Black 01 “looking for about 30 minutes”, not sure if this is the amount of time required for the adjustments before RTB.

Just seen that over S. Shrops, but there are twin trails; is he dumping fuel?

Re: Notam 26/02/21
Black 01 fuel dump complete, asking if Ops can confirm the tower is still open as they usually clock off after he departs in the morning. Around another 30 mins till he’s on the deck.
