Any info is very much appreciated :thumb:

Why do they not have an aircraft coded EF?

Shame 6 Sqn wasn't a Battle of Britain Squadron then they could have had EF as EF-T.

ZJ947 was transferred to 6 in mid-July, not sure if/when it was repainted and might still be at Coningsby?

946 was indeed DN. It is still at Cby, and prob still coded DN. It is in storage in TMU, but has been officially given to 6 Sqn and will be marked prior to its return

Mate, can you confirm ZJ946 is EH and ZJ947, although allocated EI, is still DN? :) Ta.

sorry, my mistake 947 is DN, not 946. 947 was still coded DN when I left Cby in sept, but is due to come to 6 at some point

Sorry for the small tangent.

Could someone confirm that 6 Sqn are in residence at the "former" 43 Sqn HAS complex.

Thanks

Nope! 6 sqn are operating from the line where 56R and 43 sqns operated from.

Hi Iain,

Okay mate, you're confusing me a wee bit with the "56R and 43" bit :D

I assume you mean they're operating from the ASP (2?) in front of the old tower. Many thanks for the info.

Hi all,
Was at Warton Tuesday and noted ZK310 and ZK379 on the ramp. Both are now at Coningsby so hopefully the 4 new machines arrive home soon.
Arabest,
Geoff.
PS, Any inside arrival info is welcome!!!

I thought ZK380 was reported as the first Omani machine?

Geoff.

ZK379's line number is BT024 and ZK380 is BT025,so both are for the RAF. :thumb:
