I may have mentioned it before, but we have a small modelling show each November in Elgin - this covers all aspects of modelling from scale aircraft, boats, trucks, railways, war gaming etc. Here are just a few photos I took at the last show:

Various scale models from members of the Kinloss & District Modelling Club (based at RAF Kinloss but open to all):

1/4 Scale flying models of Airco DH.4 & Sopwith Camel - the detail on these is truly stunning.

What Shackleton kits are there or have there been? I'm quite interested in trying to build an AEW.2 for a small model project I'm considering. I'm also considering a Chipmunk, Bulldog, Buccaneer, Nimrod MR.2, Jaguar T.2, RAF SAR Wessex and Hawker Hunter Trainer (T.7?).

As some people will have already realised the Canberra Anniversary events at Newark in May are spilt over two dates.

Fresh details about the Canberra Model Display on Saturday 7th May 2011 were added to the website news page yesterday evening.
