The inevitable just happened - police cleared everyone out of the bomb dump car park and along the Kempsford - Whelford road.

I was one of those in the Bomb Dump Graham, only three vehicles there. No explanation other than you can’t park here.

Still ok to park in Washpool lane, or did they get moved on too? I can't think of anywhere else to park other than in the villages, if there's any space, and then walk along the main road.

Couldn't park there during the 3 wars - 1991, 99 and 2003. It finally seems that the powers that be have had enough.

It was so bad the other day when we were there. Had to park down wash pool lane and even then couldn’t get any spaces. It’s been carnage

I mentioned the other day that things are "different" for this deployment.

As I suspected - hence my post earlier this week about viewing arrangements. Part of the problem is that has been so little going on WRT airshows etc, even a routine deployment now generates way more interest than it would have in ordinary times.
