http://www.shorehamairshow.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;Following our ‘wash up’ meeting last night (13th September 2010) it has been agreed by the RAFA Shoreham Airshow Committee that there will be an airshow in 2011 on the following dates: 20th-21st August 2011.
We have the full support of all those involved and the management of the Shoreham Airport along with our many sponsors.
One cannot help the weather and sadly the adverse effect that it did have on some of the flying this year but we survived and had many favourable comments in the way the two days was handled by all involved. We also have noted comments made and will be looking at taking those on board for the 2011 event in particular reference to a back up plan for ground displays should the flying be effect by adverse weather conditions.
Thank you all for your continued support in making the RAFA Shoreham Airshow one of the most popular in the UK.
Did you know that registration to Fighter Control is completely free and brings you lots of added features? Find out more....

Re: Shoreham Airshow 2011
The online ticket store will be closing at 9am (BST) on the 15th August. Please visit http://tickets.shorehamairshow.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
After that tickets will still be available from the Airport Terminal and out sales outlets throughout West Sussex and parts of Hampshire. See http://www.shorehamairshow.co.uk/news/a" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ... r_2011.pdf for more details!
As we announced on the website this week, we've extended the flying programme to fit everything into each days flying. Displays will commence at 1035L with Tom Moloney's BAC Strikemaster and should end each day between 1630L and 1700L. At the moment the last scheduled act on each day in the Avro Vulcan but as is the way with airshows that's subject to last minute changes. We'll also have a big static display featuring a number of classic aircraft and gliders too as well as a Sea King HAR3 from RAF Valley and a Chinook HC2 or HC3 from RAF Odiham.
Hope to see you at the show!

Re: Shoreham Airshow 2011
As everybody knows, the Vulcan has had to pull out of it's commitments this weekend with Fuel Tank problems.
Shoreham Airshow has however been able to secure an appearance by DS Aviation's Sea Vixen which will appear on both days (subject to the usuals!)
