F-35B Marham Sunset

Post by Craig » Tue Mar 03, 2020 9:53 pm

Taken on Monday, DOOM 11/12 took off just after 16.00 and shortly returned to bash the circuit for about 40 mins at the right time of day.

Although difficult to do, you've made the grey scheme appear more interesting with your nicely lit photos.

Hard to believe but the grey lo-vis scheme may be about to become the RAF's longest surviving camouflage scheme, if we consider the Dark Green/Dark Sea Grey as lasting from the late '40s to the mid '80s.

Looking good!

All they need now are squadron markings and two letter tail codes!

Cheers, sun did most of the work, but they absorb light like crazy, it's only when you are shooting 3/4 into it that they reflected it at all.

Regarding the 'camo scheme' I find the F-35 really hard to spot when they are high or manoeuvring above the airfield, in a way I've never experienced with other types strangely?!

Best F-35 shots I've seen to date, hard to pick a favorite but I think if I had to, it'll be No.1

Very nice, you've managed to make a dull looking aircraft look good. :thumb:
