Vulcan with all due respect you are posting then deleting nothing but pure and endless speculation, it’s causing endless confusion and annoyance to many on here.

Looking at past BTF deployments, support flights occurred over the two weeks prior to any ‘bombers’ appearing, last B-2 deployment was supported by 8 flights over a 12 day duration before the Black Triangles arrived.

On past occasions it’s been fairly common for B-2s especially, to launch with 3 a/c, one being an airspare. There wouldn’t be a requirement to refuel the airspare as they normally turn back before they go feet wet over the US East coast.

Not to say my information was useles given that MISTY 11 12 and 13 are due in fairford today

No, your speculation wasn’t correct regarding the RCH flts and the initial B-2 flt. We all knew they were coming just not when. Suppose if you post enough speculation, laws of average say you’ll get something remotely correct

Who knows they may pull an over-nighter if they do some of those Arctic Sea or Baltic missions. DIdn't one stop over in Lajes or Moron the last time they were at Fairford? Would be nice if they could return the compliment.

Is there any indication of how long this deployment will last? I see last summers deployment was about 4 weeks.

Are they likely to return to Portugal or are they settled at Fairford now?

Just trying to make an educated guess of the best day to free up in the next few weeks to get down to FFD.

Just like every deployment, nobody knows and infomation on when things are flying, timings for example will never be published.

You're not the only enthusiast with long distances to drive and we are all in the same boat. Pick a day, travel and see what happens

Hi Thunder I believe their departure time was around 8:20-8:40

'1070 visible through an opening in the hangar door this morning.

The hangar doors only need to open about a foot each for the aircraft serial to be read off the NWD. I guess it’s down to the individual as to how much they need to see before they log it lol.
