B2 Deployment March/April (general information thread)
Re: B2 Deployment March/April (general information thread)
I'd suggest there are several more installations in Europe able to conduct 'short term' B2 ops than B1's and B52's which are more 'infrastructure hungry' and pretty much limited to Fairford , and Moron 'at a push'. It just becomes a problem for B2's beyond a few days when Fairfords B2 purposed hangarage comes into play . Just a view mind .

Re: B2 Deployment March/April (general information thread)
Is the NOTAM for Whiteman tonight still up? Would imagine the third aircraft will need to leave to meet the other two at Lajes.

Re: B2 Deployment March/April (general information thread)
Isn't that merely mentioning that they're a Tiger associate unit?

7 Pages of posts and not a decent aircraft in the country.
Looking forward to what will happen when something actually lands.

Comfortably Numb
Re: B2 Deployment March/April (general information thread)
Last time B-2s deployed to the UK , the first support flights arrived 12 days prior with 8 support flights in total. So far we’ve only had 3 support flights over 4 days, so you might be waiting a bit longer.
NATO Tiger Meet isn’t until the 10th of May so can’t see any connection to current build up?

Hi 'thevulcan'
The link above states the very same, but nearly 25 hours earlier on this same topic!

Jeez, you gotta loosen them panties somewhat.

Do I take it that the B-2's are still in Lajes?
