Great topic! Got a fair bit to contribute as I got bored the other week and re-edit quite a few Phantom snaps.

Kicking off with the Germans in the gloom at Waddo '09..




A sporty departure from the F-4F pair at RIAT '07..

Oh .. The days before we went “smokeless” I remember when I used to spend hours as a kid looking out for the Phantoms when they were based at Lakenheath. We’d just have to keep an eye on the horizon for the give-away black plumes of smoke. Used to love the spooky ghost-like howl of the engines in the distance (No doubt where the very appropriate name originated). Nice to see a lot of these ol’ clips. Thanks to everyone who’s contributed, .. VG
