If people wanted to get the same kit then that would be cool :thumb:

Well I did buy the gannet to do for this but if you want we can do a vote on the kit and I will just get that one.

I think it would be best to keep it to 72nd though

Suggestions please :thumb:

Just having a look on the Airfix site and I found these ones I quite like the look of..

Whirlwind
Mirage III
Yak 9 D
Sea Hawk
P47

These ones are all 1/72 scale. Is there a set Scale to follow Shaun? :thumb:
Cheers

As I thought it would be good for the beginners, I think the best scale would be 72nd :thumb:

Ah sounds grand mate! There is some good 'Beginner Kits' Airfix do. Is the Gannet 1/72?

I was thinking of doing it from now (or at least once we can sort out the kit), but it depends on when people want it to start. I thought it would be good for those who arnt taking part in the comp to join in with something. But if people want it after it has finished then thats cool :thumb:

Ok then we will forget the whole thing until next year, I ask for peoples contributions as to what they want and only jamie and mark are constructive.

I am starting to wonder why I bother

Shaun,

Don't get disheartened, I think most people are concentrating on the Main Build at the moment, Its nice to see that in 5 - 6 months that the numbers who contribute have more than doubled and that is something to be proud of.

I would go for the Airfix `Reds` Hawk. That way we can put a team together.
