Hi. Any idea on the length of the deployment in October and the number of airframes?

Thanks,

Nothing showed up - may have been open as a diversion base for something.

I took it that the first flight takes off from KBAD at 2250 this evening?

Just for info an Atlas B767 landed KBAD a couple of minutes ago and a Connie B747 is inbound about 30 miles out from KBAD. FR24 spot at 2220 local UK time.

As at 0800L this morning the 767 hasn't materialised, N740CK is over the Atlantic south of Gander and N709CK is over Maryland.

As I pointed out in The Fighter Contro Mess - Mildenhall Closure and Fairford Base - Notam 20/9 Dragon 21, we might be seeing a dramatic change in US posture; the question is, is it short or long term bomber deployments into Fairford? A big deployment sends out a clear message. Have a nice revisionist Cold Day.
