These Bombers seem to be getting quieter. I saw the B52 overhead in clear blue sky, very nice, but if it hadnt been for this forum Id have never caught it. Thanks guys!
The point is though a few exercises back I would have heard it comming. They seemed a lot louder before!

Probably to do with wind direction.

Get a lot of trans Atlantic airliners over ours, the wind direction makes a big difference to how audible they are
