Just to be clear are the current flight B-52s or B2s?

Why then did the B52 come if it does not fly?

I didn't say it won't fly, I just said that it hadn't flown since it arrived. It may be that it had to divert because it had a mechanical fault that needed repair or it may just have been positioning for a flight that has yet to happen? As of yesterday there was only 1 B52 at Fairford and 3 B2's (2 of which are currently in the air) and Iv'e seen nothing on the forum to suggest that's changed.
