Re: NOTAM 4/5 Sept
ADSB shows currently 60-0024 over Bretange F in NW direction FL281. No idea if this might be a candidate for Fairford
Re: NOTAM 4/5 Sept
No. It's on a GPM, tankers airborne from Mildenhall. Will only turn up at Fairford if it's got an issue.
Re: NOTAM 4/5 Sept
Christine is not the real name. The name was given because once it’s engines started up in the hangar by themselves. Stephen King reference I think? That’s what I heard anyway.

Re: NOTAM 4/5 Sept
Roughly where is the b52 now ?
Re: NOTAM 4/5 Sept
With the NOTAM still up anyone able confirm if any going on’s around any of the B-2’s
Re: NOTAM 4/5 Sept
B52 parked up as rh226 says and Spirit of Georgia outside hangar with a number of vehicles and personnel but was all quiet between 7.30 and 8.30..
Re: NOTAM 4/5 Sept
At FFD now - only one B2 outside but didn't look like it’s going anywhere soon.
Re: NOTAM 4/5 Sept
Also, to save anyone else a trip, I went to Marston Meysey end too just now but no floodlights on so couldnt see the B52 in the dark (if it even is parked at that end!)
Re: NOTAM 4/5 Sept
From photos it looks like it's at the eastern end of the usual B-52 dispersal area, so probably a better view from crash gate at opposite side of the runway (14A I think).

A B-2 Spirit stealth bomber flew an extended duration sortie over the Arctic Circle as part of a #BomberTaskForceEurope exercise. This familiarization was the B-2’s first mission this far north in the European theater.

From todays Anniversary Gathering..graham luxton wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2019 2:53 pmIts got a name under the cockpit - "Christine"? I'm sure a close up will emerge at some stage to confirm it but its difficult to make out on my video.

If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!
