I know this is a long shot but does anyone know how much fuel a Buff burns when holding for 90 minutes?

Yes it's hard without a ping.

Latest comms have it going into a 70 miles orbit at current position ( no idea - best guess "over Wales" )
They could pop it through the loop while they wait :-)

Fuel capacity 181,000 litres. Ferry range 16,000 Kms. Cruise speed 840km/h. Assume 20,000l left in tank on landing. So average fuel burn 10 litres/km. Over 90 minutes would use up something like 12,000 litres without venting.
