When you can see the ground from your high horse, I'm sure Andrew was only sharing some light hearted humour. Not really any need to sink to that level is there!?

Just home after a trip to friends. Called in at FFD and saw 2 guys at runways end. Went over to see if anything was happening. Nothing was so as I turned to leave 1 of them announced that there was going to be B2 deployment... .." how do you know ?" I asked.. he then went into a great long waffle about being in the know with the right people.etc .... "Look forward to seeing them" I replied.... and left.... .. So..... the rumours have started.... we will see ...

So, given there is currently nothing going on at Fairford, they were waiting there for some flights that are due in 11 days?

Must be some patient guys!

So much in the know that they were waiting at the end of an inactive runway, that's dedication :thumb:  .

Perhaps the local village idiots were just passing and you mistook them for aviation enthusiasts?
