How boring could not think of anything else worse than a civilian passenger plane would much rather a military aircraft in its place...Just my opinion others will love it.......Just waiting on the comments having a go at me cause I dont like the 747 as happened before.....

Defo not the best RIAT, but will be better than being at work and there are a few highlights i would say, poor poor US participation in the flying aspect.

747-400 BA Tragic, why is this at RIAT, who cares, go to Heathrow and see 100’s
A400M Airbus cool
The Blades Aerobatic Team Boring, go have lunch
Breitling Jet Team boring, go drink a beer
F/A-18C Hornet Finland fantastic!
Patrouille de France boring, go get another beer or have a nap!
T-6A Texan II horrendous, look at photos taken of the day.
Extra 300LX Tragic, go look at some static boring
Frecce Tricolori boring as hell!
C-27J Spartan Boring simple as that
F-2000 Typhoon Italy Fantastic!
T-346A italy Fantastically boring!!!!
F-16AM Belgium great, but getting a bit common now on the day,.
A400M German (flyover) fly over boring
EF2000 German fly over boring
Tornado ECR/IDS German good to see my old favorite one more time

Typhoon FGR.4 Always the best performance

MiG-21 LanceR C Romania an epic addition, really excited about this.
PC-9M Swift horrendous act, seaside airshow quality
EAV-8B Harrier II Plus x2 never thought I would see one again, absolutely epic!
F/A-18C Hornet always good, fantastic
Chinook HC.4/6A impressive
Su-27P 'Flanker' quality
Red Arrows The best display team and the only one which should be there.
BBMF fantastic as always!
Tucano T1 the worst display to watch, go asleep
F-16 Viper Demo Team the 4th f16 but interesting its American which I have not seen before
CV-22B Osprey getting boring now.

Apart from the 747 (as like yourself I think it's boring) I actually think the rest of the lineup is fantastic Any military aircraft or civilian owned former military aircraft is good and interesting enough for me, You forgot about the F-35 flypast/mini role demo as that will be awesome too I think it's a very varied look this year and I for 1 cannot wait for next week to come around

Have some confidence in your opinion, you dont like the 747 then fine but one of the cringiest things about modern social media is people writing something and following it up with guff like 'im entitled to my opinion' or 'just waiting for the comments'.......

For the record I'm looking forward to it and hope after the fly through that it does a low approach and pull up like the A380 did in 2013, that was pretty epic. thats just my opinion though

I thought I read somewhere that the B744 is flying with the Reds - should be a classic photo opportunity.

Exactly, 747s aren't as common as they used to be!! And to see something as rare as one painted in original colours will be a sight to see.

Is the F35 doing a mini display or something then? I didn't know that, be great if it does, even just a few afterburner passes will make me happy, bring the noise better than all that prop rubbish, except the merlins of course

talking of photo opportunities, you would think they would put a F35 up with the harriers and go into the hover next to each other, now that would be a photo opportunity, they wont though,,, people would rather see a 747
