Re: Daks over Normandy: 2-5 June 2019@Duxford
Missing EU aircraft, can anyone shed any light if they are cancellations or if they arrive tomorrow
N41CQ ~ Sweden
RA2944G - Russian (must be doubtful)
SE-CFP - Sweden (flying today 2nd June in Sweden)
RA05738 - Russian (must be doubtful)
ZA947 - UK - BBMF (assumed to be arriving tomorrow 3rd June)
PH-PBA - Netherlands - (last flew 31st May in Netherlands)
N147DC - UK - Aces High - (Assumed to be arriving tomorrow)
with 22 aircraft already at Duxford if all of them showed that would give a total of 29 aircraft. I suspect only 4 of them will arrive giving a total of 26.

Drag em oot isn't going to Duxford as far as I'm aware, they are doing their own thing
Cheers

Re: Daks over Normandy: 2-5 June 2019@Duxford
The organisers have said a there will be aircraft departing on the 4th to do their own drops in France before returning. So although I agree it is unlikely, it is still possible for her to be there.
(Updated list)
Re: Daks over Normandy: 2-5 June 2019@Duxford
Their website and Facebook disagrees. They are having an event at North Weald on the 4th before leaving for Headcorn then departing to Cherbourg where they will be operating from for the rest of the week
Cheers

Hi Karl - yes it did. It landed between N8336C and N74589 at 16:05. I'm not long home and wading through several hundred photos to compile a log. Any questions on this afternoon's moves at Duxford and I'll try to answer when I can.

Yep, you weren't the only one.tinmachine wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 7:59 pmThanks Nighthawke think I was suffering from a dose of dakotaitis!
As Sunday was the only time I could get to see them I was well impressed with how the arrivals and the Mag-7 returners were handled in the afternoon.
Credit to the tannoy guy who gave everyone a 10 minute 'head-up' for the next Dak arrival and who it was, Danish, French, Finnish and so on.
Decent weather helped as well, good luck to those attending the rest of the week.
Haven't been back to Duxford since 1985 so obviously a lot had changed but a great day was had.
Cheers
Mike

Re: Daks over Normandy: 2-5 June 2019@Duxford
SE-CFP at 2100ft crossing from Sweden to Denmark ... so I would guess not into Duxford until 3-4PMI dont know if the other Swedish aircraft is with it or not
Re: Daks over Normandy: 2-5 June 2019@Duxford
Reckon the back road/naughty fields at Duxford will be closed like a normal airshow?
