Hi Allan,

There were 84 new build F-15SA ordered, serials 12-1001/84. Of these, there have been 49 that have been delivered across the pond, plus the 6 that went direct to Nellis for the recent Red Flag 19-2.

There were also to be a number of upgrades of their existing F-15S to F-15SA standard (not sure of how many), of which 2 have been re-delivered across the pond (as 93-0857 and 93-0899).

93-0857 and 93-0899 were upgraded at St Louis , the rest of the fleet will be upgraded in Saudi

12-1003 and 1004 were based at Palmdale not Edwards. In fact. 1004 was only temporarily assigned to PMD, along with 12-1016. They spent most of their time at St Louis.
12-1001, 1002 and 1003 operated from Palmdale for the test program. All three are now back at St Louis.

12-1001 & 12-1002 both have red test markings on tail,wing & engine intakes . 1001 has/had a red nose probe while at Palmdale , 1003 & 1004 are standard grey c/s
