Some idiot on TV was saying how Bomber Command commited a war crime! Piers Morgan put him in his place. Haven't seen it myself but what an idiot! Makes my blood boil!!

There always one who open their month before putting their brain in gear. What every must all them men and woman think that gave their lives for our freedom think now . Anyway if they are court their only get a slap on the wrist and told don't do it again . Make them clean it up

I agree totally with the AVM of the RAF Benevolent Fund, the best response to this is to clean it up, and keep it open to the public as it was intended.

The message will get through eventually, that attacking it is pointless. I like to think that this stubborn and disciplined approach to countering the idiocy of vandalising it would be appreciated by those who gave their lives for this country.

I hope they catch those responsible, and make an example of them to those who might be thinking along similar lines.

Depends how you look at it doesn’t it, the indiscriminate bombing of civilians on all sides today would have you standing up in front of The Hague on all counts of committing war crimes, just because there wasn’t a treaty in force back in 1940 doesn’t make it right for the Luftwaffe, USAAF, Russians or RAF.
