Second edit - was also following Strikemaster G-FLYY, does this ever head into Warton? I lost it over Preston.

I think the Strikemaster is currently flying the circuit at Warton.

I thought it was based at Warton? 3 Hangar? (not short of hangarage there anyhow).
WTN10 also up @ 1438L in a dev typhoon.

Think we need a new thread for Jan 2019 movements..perhaps we will get our first visit from a F-35 this year (and Texan II)...

Didn’t realise it was the one based at Warton. It did numerous touch and go and then landed before I arrived. Glad I did though as the Typhoon was a good sight.

No problem. It was a shock to see it to be honest. I went in hope of seeing the Strikemaster... never seen that but got the Typhoon instead so I’m not complaining. Wasn’t expecting any Typhoons, Tornado or Hawks till next week so it was a nice bonus.

Not sure whether Warton have any ready, I meant the ones from Valley that some times visit for touch and go etc. There was four that visited when I was there in October.

Regarding G-FLYY, it is temp based at Warton for undisclosed testing.
It is part owned by ex BAE Test Pilot T.14 as part of the fantastic High G Ltd at Blackpool in Hangar 2A. Give them a google, I'm going for a flight in one of there Chipmunks very soon.
