Re: December 2018 Movements/Yuletide Log
Anyone know what time the West Atlantic 737 is departing? Just noticed it on Flight Radar24.
Edit - never mind, looks to be taxiing now
Second edit - was also following Strikemaster G-FLYY, does this ever head into Warton? I lost it over Preston.

I’m sat in traffic heading over. Hoping it’s still there when I get there.

I thought it was based at Warton? 3 Hangar? (not short of hangarage there anyhow).Campbell89 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 04, 2019 12:18 pmSecond edit - was also following Strikemaster G-FLYY, does this ever head into Warton? I lost it over Preston.
WTN10 also up @ 1438L in a dev typhoon.
Think we need a new thread for Jan 2019 movements..perhaps we will get our first visit from a F-35 this year (and Texan II)...
Happy New Year
Cheers

Didn’t realise it was the one based at Warton. It did numerous touch and go and then landed before I arrived. Glad I did though as the Typhoon was a good sight.TombsRIP wrote: ↑Fri Jan 04, 2019 6:01 pmI thought it was based at Warton? 3 Hangar? No problem. It was a shock to see it to be honest. I went in hope of seeing the Strikemaster... never seen that but got the Typhoon instead so I’m not complaining. Wasn’t expecting any Typhoons, Tornado or Hawks till next week so it was a nice bonus.

Not sure whether Warton have any ready, I meant the ones from Valley that some times visit for touch and go etc. There was four that visited when I was there in October.beeredup1974 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 06, 2019 8:40 pmare their any hawks due to fly? ive missed seeing the hawk I don't think the Advanced hawks seen the light of day in 12 months?

Guys, please use new Thread (Jan 2019 Log/Movements)
Regarding G-FLYY, it is temp based at Warton for undisclosed testing.
It is part owned by ex BAE Test Pilot T.14 as part of the fantastic High G Ltd at Blackpool in Hangar 2A. Give them a google, I'm going for a flight in one of there Chipmunks very soon.
