Just looking on ADS-B, Saudi Tonka is back up west of the Lake District.

On a side note, does Warton tend to operate between Christmas and New Year or do they have a shut down period? Hoping to get back up there and grab some photos of ZE114 bits it’s looking like my only chance will be between 22 Dec and 6th Jan.

Thanks

Would imagine the place will close down on 23/12 and re-open on 2/1.

Guesswork, not fact, however they always close for a week or so.

Chatting to a friend who works at Warton the other day, BAE shutdown on Friday 21st at lunchtime, so don't expect any flying after Thursday.
They reopen on Weds 2nd Jan, but the chances of flying that day are slim. Hope this helps.

Something currently showing on ADSB as ZJ946, out and about. Which is a Typhoon and was at Coningsby last I recall

ZJ700 is/was test aircraft for E-scan radar (Captor) - presumably testing is still underway.
Happy Christmas to all Warton personnel - whether on or outside airfield!

The guys at Reedham (Coningsby) believe the Rampage formation was

ZK311 and ZJ802 (3sqn badge)

Stories of incorrect "brick" in a aircraft

ZJ700 is indeed the Escan test aircraft, testing still underway... albeit at a slow pace!

Merry Christmas to you too and all folk on here.

Considering risking a visit this afternoon to see if there is much movement. Fingers crossed ZE114 is on the apron at least!

I wouldn't bother - a contact on-site tells me nothing scheduled today.

Thanks. Saves a no-show and a disappointed 5 year old. I’ll try later this week.
