Air Force 1 VC-25A 92-9000 overhead Cardiff this evening at 22:00 very little light so forced to used 6400iso - fortunately only at FL290 so a fair bit closer than normal

Taken from my back garden. Through the Daventry Corridor then 3 circuits 3000Ft, final circuit 2000Ft over Boston . Low pass RAF Cranwell then back the way he came to Brize.

Hi all as I spent the last year renovating a barn on top of Hanging Hill overlooking Banbury I have recored a lot of traffic going up and down the Dav RC and going in and out of Brize .The few low level ones will be put in the low level section and the rest here .Appoligise in advance for the quality as mentioned before Will try to put them in some sort of Chronological order Ni

Here are some more lucky shots that I caught just by chance. I am not on a military flightpath here in North Norfolk or particularly near an airfield, at least not since Coltishall closed, so it was a surprise to see this passing Merlin over the hedge at the end of my garden and I just had time to grab a couple of shots. Shutter speed was too fast and the rotor blades look stationary but I didn't have time to do anything but turn the camera on and shoot with whatever settings it happened to be at!

What I hadn't realised, until I ran round to the back of the house to see them disappearing in the distance over the field, was that there were actually two of them.
