Beautiful day now, cloud is clearing nicely. Hopefully the ground crews have successfully got all the participating aircraft fully serviceable & that the aircrews can put on a flypast that we'll remember for years!
Big thanks going out to our RAF for everything they do for our country.
Enjoy your special day!

Well, a truly splendid affair that was.

The entire programme and presentation on BBC1, from start to finish, was excellently done in my opinion. The interviews, the stories, the service in Westminster Abbey, the Colours presentation at the palace, the fly-past - this is a must see on 'catch-up' if you missed it.

Fantastic day and flypast indeed, very memorable. Never before have I seen Waterloo and Hungeford Bridge full of spectators from end to end.

Most roads around Westminster came to a standstill because of large crowds and cars stopping until it came to an end!
Regards,

Neil

Fantastic day and a superb Flypast! Forgive me if I’ve missed it but is there a list of the serial numbers of the aircraft involved anywhere?

A few of us were at the top of St Pauls, Golden Gallery, about 350ft ASL. Fantastic viewing/photographic point south of the flypast - but there was a constant queue of tourists starting from the Stone Gallery (1st exterior level) to the Golden Gallery (2nd). Queuing takes about 15 minutes and you need to find a recess in the Golden Gallery to avoid staying in the queue and having to descend. Adult admission charge to the Cathederal is £18 but there is an interesting free guided tour taking in areas previously off limits; one unsupported (canter lever) staircase appears in a Harry Potter film, amongst others.

I was there too (Golden Gallery)! Certainly was a good spot. I’m sure many of those tourists had no idea what was in store...

I was one of the massed crowd on Waterloo Bridge. Absolutely fabulous sight. Well done to the RAF for putting on. A great show.

I was on Waterloo bridge and everyone seemed to enjoy the flypast.

I also did horse guards for ZG773 - machine!

Nice to visit a couple of my old watering holes namely the Coal hole (£5.05 for Land lord) and the Chandos (£3.48 for Sam Smiths)

ZG773 was my 371st RAF Tornado serial

I missed a few written off etc but can you believe the RAF must of had roughly 400 Tornados at one point!

( Is ZD892 still in shawbury)

According to the European Air Forces Directory ZD892 went to Leeming for RTP in September 2012.

Cheers that's a shame

There was so much anticipation over the last few months and it's all over in 9 minutes!
