Hi Harvo,

Yes same here, have not heard anything back from them - This is usual. As long as you paid in time then you’ll be fine. Feel free to ping them an email just to confirm your payment and I’m sure you’ll get a reply. I did that in the past.

Just a thought.

Will the camouflage aircraft fly before the evening photography session? The tail fin would get muck all over the base. Have fun if you go on the visit :D

They could always wash it before the event!

Just received an email about H&S. They have said everyone will be issued with yellow earplugs but that if you have better defenders you should bring them. That to me suggests flying or at least taxiing will take place. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻

Probably just to protect your hearing from the incessant requests to "do the Loop one last time?"

Seconded. After the last one this was absolutely brilliant.

I'd recommend anyone who attended the last one who sent an email complaint to pen another email of thanks for how well organised the day was and the access on offer .

Hearty thanks to everyone involved in organising the Tornado farewell event at RAF Marham today. I thought it was a major success. Very friendly, inclusive and above all relaxed. It was also great to have so many helpful people on hand to talk about the Mighty Fin.

Very well done Marham.

Wish marham would have realised thir big mistake last time and given those that spent many hundreds of pounds on attending , time off work, fuel etc for 3 aircraft on display and treating them quite shabilly in their disdain both during and after the even, amd given those that put their money up front for that tripe, the opportunity to one.

I'm glad that it went well, and that Marham seemingly have learnt their lesson, but there are quite a few (me included) enthusiasts who Marham upset and then didnt really do anything about putting it right. And shame on them for that.

If you dont know that story, please look up the thread on this forum or elsewhere to see what i am talking about. It was sickening!
Whats more we all got a letter from the cheif via the P.r. department saying how surprised he was at the negative feedback of only 3 aircraft on show!
Grrrrrrrrr (lol)

Not sure if we are talking about the same event here, but were we not offered a ticket to the families day as compensation for the `tripe` ??
I thought that was a very good gesture.
For me ,the `tonka` with the 100 sticker made it.
The Familys day was great. Unfortunately I did not get a ticket for this latest event, presumably because I am not glued to my PC 24/7
