If anyone stays at Townsend Farm the week of RIAT then they are not taking any customers who turn up at the gate as it says in FAQs advance bookings only until end of June.

While I haven't gone as far as packing fully, I have my documents, boarding passes, bus and train tickets etc printed out and in the suitcase, and also on my phone. Memory cads still need formatted, but as for actual packing, my clothes will go in to the suitcase probably the night before, though my last trip was an hour before I left.

Yea that was exactly it Ollie, due to its parking slot it needed to be one of the first to arrive but wasn't able to make it for some reason and RIAT said not to bother coming - got this from head of air ops at RIAT.

Hopefully doesn't happen this time.

No worries at all Mike, I was beginning to question myself there! From memory they explained their situation and we explained ours re: parking & security etc. and the consensus was that they'd have to withdraw due to the chances of them getting the jet fixed in time.

That hasn't been the official version for a while now, the USAF confirmed their new mission back in September 2021.
