This just dropped in re tomorrow.

RIAT23 Saturday July 15th weather update

We understand that the weather forecast has caused concern among those who are planning on visiting this year’s Royal International Air Tattoo.

Colleagues within our Air Operations team are in constant communication with the Met Office, who are also on site at RAF Fairford. We can confirm that having reviewed all relevant information, Saturday's RIAT will take place as planned.

For people who are travelling to us tomorrow, we encourage them to prepare appropriately with warm and waterproof clothing, as well as suitable footwear. Please make sure you have your tickets and car passes handy. Also, please ensure you follow our advertised routes and

not your sat nav.

I think that cancelled a while ago, but don't hold me on that!
Yep cancelled few weeks ago.
Well Dauphin ZJ165 is definitely in the gren zone static. Posibly photographable from outside but didnt see where it parked.
Sorry I got mixed up with the French one that cancelled a few weeks ago.

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me if the RN dolphin is photographable from outside the fence?
Tia,

Robert
Yep I managed to get it from the end of Marston Meysey road this evening. Parked up just by the entrance down there

Impossible situation for the organisers. They're in a damned if you do damned if you don't scenario.

They were checking at Yellow, I confused one person by showing them a FRIAT pass. They didn’t believe me. They went to ask some for confirmation

I have just realised I have not booked a car parking pass for tomorrow, wasn't needed last year and somehow missed it when booking tickets on the website.Anyone know if we will be allowed in,can they be issued on the day?,or is it a case of trying for Sunday? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Really don't see it being a problem.
No doubt a fair few will miss today anyway.

Looking down to 27 end from FRIAT, the road looks f***ed!! Not a lot of movement. Really poor traffic management each night and this morning.

Thankfully, commentary in the grandstand today so useful for updates.
