Firstly, Columbine II made it from Avra Valley, AZ to Bridgewater, VA on 23rd March, via a stop at the Mid America Flight Museum at Mt. Pleasant, Texas. And so, one other stop while in Arizona, was made at Buckeye Municipal Airport, the home of the Lauridsen Aviation Museum. According to a friendly chap here, most of the aircraft are being restored and made airworthy prior to relocating to Glendale Municipal, where a brand new facility is planned. Looks like a long-term project, but good luck to them. The C-119G here (N15501) was used in the 2004 remake of "Flight of the Phoenix", with filming done in Namibia...
